 PEACE BE WITH YOU

Today on the Radio Station that I listen to KLOVE Radio, there was a discussion about lowering our blood pressure. The commentator said that 4 hugs a day would lower your blood pressure. I have a couple of seniors who have very low blood pressure, they hug almost everyone who comes into the center. I think at least 8 hugs a day for good 20 seconds each are the best. Most of our hugs, especially since covid are side hugs. I like the full on, straight forward grab and pick up hug. 20 seconds may be a bit long and they don't happen very often, but boy when they do they are simply yummy. But before you try one of those 20 second hugs it would be advised to ask the person first if it would be ok to get a 20 second hug. And if the 20 second hug is not in the cards, a side hug or even a touch on the shoulder may be good enough. And if none of those are in the cards, a smile works wonders.

So this January, lets make it national hug month and if the hug isn't appropriate, pass on a good smile.

Love Bob
